David M Kennedy’s book You voted for who? And you call yourself a Christian? presents a unique view of the political world in relation to the Bible. He discusses elements that are affecting our world including same-sex marriage, God in Schools and much more. The events taking place into day’s political arena could be changed if Christians better understood the bible and how it could help to establish a better society if it were used correctly. You voted for who? And you call yourself a Christian is well worth the read as it will open the reader’s eyes to the world around them. Kennedy’s book will also serve to inspire them to investigate and evaluative political parties to see where they stand according to the Scriptures and the Christian mission.

As a mid-senior, I have come to a place in life that voting is even more important than ever. Reading David’s book allowed me to learn enough to be able to make even wiser choices in the future. This book makes a great reference book for both politicians and people who need religious reference materials.

As a Christian parent I am now understanding that the people we elect into office and their beliefs on certain subjects are vital in my children’s future. This book helped to clarify these social issues and better explain how the political parties view them. It helped simplify the issues by giving easy to understand “for instances” which helps expand your own thoughts on the issues. I highly recommend this book to those who just don’t understand what the politicians are really saying about Gay Rights, Abortion, Healthcare, etc. Great, great book!!!

I am an atheist, but felt compelled to read this book. While I still do not believe in the existence of a god, I have a new found respect for true Christians, who would follow the basic core teachings of the bible, as laid out by Mr. Kennedy. He is truly a biblical scholar, and shows how the choices for Christians are really very simple. He exposes those that use religion for political gain, and shows what they are doing wrong. He also gives easy, simple guidelines cutting through the political ads that play to our emotions.
