In his novel, The Honky Tonk Life, author/songwriter RD Foster tells the story of a little band from Texas called “The Red River Surfers”.  Set in the early 1960s, it was a time when Country Music, Rock-and-Roll, Folk and Blues could be heard on the same radio station within the same hour. In this, his third album, RD brings that fictional band to life in a new CD titled “The Red River Surfers”. Recorded at Red Dog Ranch Studio in Anna, Texas, by Trina Foster, sound engineer, ten songs written and produced by RD Foster and one song, “Surfin’ The Red” written by Mike Sanchez, reflect those days in music, but with an underlying true Texas Music feel.

“The Red River Surfers” music is available here at as well as worldwide from CD Baby, YouTube Music, Yandex, Spotify, Slacker Radio, Pandora, Napster, iHeart Radio, Deezer, Google Music, Amazon Music, iTunes and all online digital downloads and streaming outlet sources. The next album is in the works now.
